Position: Field Sales Engineer
Work location: Kansai (Osaka)
Measured based on target system objectives applicable to market-oriented functions.
Implements the agreed strategy in his/her sales area, aligning with time, cost, and quality requirements. Develops solution offerings for markets/customers/channels, including HARTING and non-HARTING products and services, such as VAB, that meet customer needs and offer clear technical and economic advantages over competitors.
Analyzes customer supply chain structures and decision-making processes, developing coordinated strategies. Develops new sub-solutions, initiates new product development, and creates specific solution concepts. Provides technical support to customers and assists in design efforts.
Possessing specialist knowledge, he/she shares expertise with colleagues through training and support.
Responsible for all HARTING products, solutions, and services for assigned customers, ensuring a unified customer interface. Conducts market observation and screening to identify potential. Uses market and sector analyses along with technical expertise to support sales. Maintains proactive customer engagement to identify developments and derive solutions or identify contacts.
Manages customer contacts, implements measures for customer loyalty and acquisition, and launches new products aligned with strategic goals. Produces customer reports and opportunities, conducts regular visits, and documents interactions in CRM. Handles quality complaints professionally, forwarding them to relevant departments.
Reports directly to the Regional Sales Manager.
