Job description

Responsibilities and Duties:

  1. Key point of contact for Client’s Restaurants / Business Consultants / Business Manager
  2. Develop thorough understanding of customer operations and ordering system
  3. Maintain positive relationships with the customer and ensure customer satisfaction. Provide timely updates to clients on problem resolutions
  4. Key contact for Restaurant management for any restaurant-related concerns. Work with Operations and Transportation team to provide solutions
  5. Conduct regular Restaurant visits and document in tracking spreadsheet
  6. Track customers' concerns, explore and document solutions
  7. Promote and assist in implementing projects/changes with the customer on site (e.g. ROP/delivery schedule)
  8. Develop and execute plans to improve offload rates, delivery readiness, order preparation or other issues affecting results to meet customers’ expectations
  9. Ecosima planning for new Restaurant. Attend site meetings, document all the relevant dates (project hand-over, test products & 1st delivery)
  10. Monitor and maintain Ecosima, consistently re-evaluating Restaurant ordering vs storage especially those Re-model Restaurant
  11. Assist transportation with route changes and Restaurant communication
  12. Review customer requests for any change of delivery cycle
  13. Co-ordinate development of monthly correspondence to Restaurants
  14. Co-ordinate new Restaurant opening
  15. Handle customer feedback timely and effectively
  16. Conduct yearly Customer Satisfaction Survey, tabulate, and present results of the survey
  17. Support festive (e.g. CNY) sales peak additional delivery cycle arrangement
  18. Any other duties as assigned by supervisor or operational requirements. It is a developing role with client’s input

Required skills and experience:

  1. Minimum Diploma in business management and/or logistics management
  2. Proven experience working in 4PL or 3PL logistic operations ideally in a similar food distribution service environment to optimize distribution centre efficiency
  3. Quick response & on-site problem resolution
  4. Strong troubleshooting skills to resolve delivery issues in real-time to prevent operational delays
  5. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment responding to emergencies at restaurants island wide
  6. Compliance with Food Safety & Regulatory Standards
  7. Knowledge of client specific food safety protocols to maintain quality from distribution centre to restaurant location
  8. Proficient in Autocad is a plus but not mandatory
  9. Strong interpersonal and exceptional problem-solving skills, in addition to being a team player. Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills
  10. Possession of a valid class 3 driving licence is a plus but not mandatory
  11. Does not require company sponsorship to work in Singapore
