Job summary

MORIMATSU PHARMADULE (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. is seeking a Field Engineer to support pharmaceutical project execution in Singapore. The successful candidate will provide on-site engineering support, ensuring compliance with project and regulatory requirements in GMP environments.

Responsibilities include supervising installation activities, troubleshooting technical issues, and preparing site reports. A diploma or degree in engineering is required, along with preferably experience in pharmaceutical or biotech environments.

Qualifications

• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or regulated manufacturing environment preferred.
• Familiar with utilities and process systems installation.
• Able to work in project site environment and travel if required.

Job Description

We are seeking a Field Engineer to support pharmaceutical project execution and site activities within GMP manufacturing environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing on-site technical support, ensuring equipment installation, commissioning, and compliance with project and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide on-site engineering support for pharmaceutical equipment and systems
• Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning activities at project sites
• Support IQ/OQ/PQ validation activities in GMP environments (if applicable)
• Ensure all site works comply with engineering standards, safety requirements, and GMP regulations
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during construction and commissioning phases
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, vendors, and client representatives
• Prepare site reports, commissioning records, and technical documentation
• Support preventive maintenance and system optimization when required

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Engineering, or related discipline
• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or regulated manufacturing environment preferred
• Familiar with utilities / process systems / equipment installation (advantage)
• Knowledge of GMP requirements is an advantage
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Able to work in project site environment and travel if required
• Team player with strong problem-solving ability
