Field Chemical Engineer (1 year contract, US MNC, up to $5000)
Job Description:

US MNC

Location: Jurong Island

Salary: up to $5000 with completion bonus

Work Schedule: 5 days a week, 8am to 5pm

Role Summary:

As a Field Engineer, you will provide field support to assigned projects, assist in resolving problems, and ensure our products perform efficiently during operations. You will collaborate with other teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
  • Meet all company service reporting requirements to customers.
  • Conduct field evaluations of new products and equipment, install test systems, record data, and train customer personnel.
  • Provide on-site field service and troubleshooting support.
  • Offer technical support to customers, identify and resolve challenges, and escalate issues as needed.
  • Assist in designing, constructing, and installing new chemical feed equipment at customer sites.
  • Coordinate installation of new equipment with contractors.
  • Establish maintenance schedules and repair procedures, and communicate these to customers and team members.
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment used in customer plants.
Requirements:
  • Minimum Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Oil & Gas Chemicals or Refinery Operations.
  • Good product knowledge, especially in Downstream Chemicals.
  • Understanding of production processes, onshore operations, and chemical applications.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well with customers.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Ability to work under pressure in an onshore environment.
