Job summary

Scotiabank in Singapore is offering a Trainee role to support the FICC sales and trading desk. You will assist traders, help manage on-boarding and credit reviews for clients, and contribute to the preparation of market color, term sheets and client communications.

The program targets undergraduates in Accountancy/Banking & Finance/Economics/Computing, preferably in their 3rd or 4th year or fresh graduates, with a minimum 6-month commitment and strong English writing skills.

Qualifications

• Undergrad with degree/major in Accountancy, Banking & Finance, Economics or Computing.
• Preferably Year 3 or 4 or fresh graduate, available to commit for minimum 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Support FICC sales and trading activities in Singapore under supervision.
• Assist senior traders with trade ideas and risk management support.
• Coordinate onboarding, KYC, and credit reviews for clients.
• Prepare market color, term sheets, pitch books, and client communications.
