Job summary

Lennor Metier Consulting partners with a global leader in photonics to recruit an Assembly Technician based in Singapore. You will assemble, test, and troubleshoot optical, mechanical, and electrical components with a focus on Fiber Loop Assembly (FLA).

Ideal candidates have hands‑on fiber optics experience, precision assembly skills, and the ability to follow engineering drawings and quality standards. This onsite role requires rotating shifts and strict adherence to safety and quality

Qualifications

• GCE ’N’ Level or Technical Certificate required.
• Experience in a manufacturing or process-driven environment.
• Experience with Fiber Loop Assembly (FLA) or optical assembly processes.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test mechanical, electrical, and optical components per engineering specs.
• Perform fiber routing, looping, cleaning, and cleaving; inspect end faces.
• Maintain records and documentation; uphold safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with engineering and production; train others as needed.
• Support process improvements and adapt to changing production needs.
