Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd. is seeking an Instrumentation Engineer to join our technical team in a hands-on role focusing on calibration, maintenance and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment in a dynamic environment.

The role involves calibration verification, preventive maintenance, record-keeping to ISO/SOP standards, and collaboration with service providers to resolve issues while supporting inventory management.

Qualifications

• ITE or Diploma in science-related fields.
• Interest in technical, laboratory or engineering work.
• Detail-oriented with good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Able to follow technical procedures and documentation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine calibration and verification for laboratory equipment such as balances, pipettes, spectrophotometers and chromatography systems.
• Carry out preventive maintenance, diagnose equipment malfunctions and replace defective parts where necessary.
• Maintain accurate calibration records, prepare reports and certificates, and ensure ISO/SOP compliance.
• Investigate equipment issues and measurement discrepancies, and coordinate with external service providers for repairs when required.
• Monitor spare parts and inventory levels and assist with purchase orders for laboratory operations.
