Job Description:

We are seeking a creative and driven Fashion Designer and Consultant to join our dynamic team. As a Fashion Designer and Consultant, you will work closely with our production team and customers to assist in all aspects of the design process, from conceptualization and to the final product. Your role will involve consulting clients, market research, sketching designs, creating tech packs, sourcing materials, quality checking, and assisting in fittings and sample development. You will collaborate with various teams including production, and marketing to ensure the successful execution of designs that align with our brand aesthetic and target audience.

Responsibilities:

• Assist customers in the conceptualization and development of fashion collections.

• Research current fashion trends, fabrics, and techniques to inspire and inform design concepts.

• Create sketches, illustrations, and mood boards to communicate design ideas.

• Develop detailed tech packs including garment specifications, construction details, and material information.

• Develop relationship with prospective and existing clients

• Create and organize digital documentations on all steps performed in the production cycle: Sketches, approved design and specifications, samples produced, forms and worksheets

• Collaborate with the production team to ensure designs are feasible for manufacturing, and to source materials and accessories such as buttons, zippers, etc.

• Perform Quality Control in all incoming produced outputs

• Assist in fittings and sample development, providing feedback on fit, construction, and quality.

• Stay updated on industry developments and participate in design meetings and brainstorming sessions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Diploma's degree in Fashion Design or related field.

• Minimum of 2 year working experience in related field.

• Fresh Graduate or Graduating student welcomed to apply.

• Must possess proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking in both English and Chinese.

• Proficiency in design software such as Techpacker, Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop is a plus.

• Strong sketching and illustration skills.

• Possess a basic understanding of garment construction, fabrication, and manufacturing processes.

• Knowledge of current fashion trends and a keen eye for detail.

• Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Independent with strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

• Passion for fashion and a desire to contribute innovative ideas to the team.
