Responsibilities

• Practice Family Medicine in accordance with SMC Code and Pledge.

• Coordinate referrals for services beyond the clinic when needed.

As a Family Physician with strong clinical experience and the ability to provide high-quality care to patients.

About the role

Professional Responsibilities

• Practice at all times in accordance with the SMC Physician's pledge and abide by the SMC Ethical Code of Conduct
• Keep abreast of medical information and developments through CME events to maintain professional registration status
• Keep abreast of the group's medical practice
• Practice evidence-based medicine in accordance with clinical practice guidelines, agency for care effectiveness guidelines, or best practices tailored to the context of individual patient's needs and values
• Conduct a practice that upholds all professional standards and obligations expected of medical practitioners

Responsibilities at TLGP

• All common aspects of Family Medicine in a GP setting, encompassing acute, chronic and preventive and continuing medical care.
• Holistic advice on lifestyle and preventive care.
• Diagnose and treat acute medical conditions, prescribe appropriate medications and perform minor procedures
• Conduct health screenings, prepare reports and advise on vaccinations.
• Facilitate referrals for patients who require services beyond the scope of the family medicine clinic.

Job Requirements

• Family Physician accredited and registered into the Family Physician Accreditation Board (FPAB) and the Singapore Medical Council (SMC)
• At least 2-3 years of experience as Family Physician or similar experience with at least 1 year in Primary Care setting (Polyclinic or General Practice work)
• Good clinical skills and judgment in patient management
• Good interpersonal skills and rapport with patients, caregivers and colleagues
• Willingness to continually update professional knowledge and skills.
