Job summary

A financial services firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced accountant to maintain daily bookkeeping and prepare financial statements. Job description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and oversee daily bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.

  • Manage and reconcile investment portfolios, tracking income, expenses, and asset valuations (including equities, real estate, private equity, etc.).

  • Assist with tax compliance, preparation of tax filings, and liaison with external tax advisors to ensure compliance with local and international tax laws.

  • Coordinate and support annual audits and internal reviews.

  • Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial forecasts for the family office and related entities such as trusts and SPVs.

  • Maintain meticulous financial records, filing, and documentation to support transparency and compliance.

  • Collaborate with external service providers including banks, auditors, legal counsel, and tax consultants.

Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.

  • Professional accounting qualification preferred (CPA, ACCA, CA).

  • Minimum 3–5 years accounting experience, preferably within family offices, private wealth management, or related sectors.

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and relevant regulations

  • Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, SAP) and MS Office/Google Suite.

  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and high level of confidentiality.
