Job summary

GREENWAVE ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. seeks a hands-on supervisor to oversee welding fabrication activities, ensuring quality and efficiency on the shop floor. You will lead Team Leaders and workers, enforce health and safety standards, and coordinate daily plans, PPE, arrivals, and unloading to keep operations smooth.

The role requires a technical diploma and welding knowledge, with the ability to work independently on challenging projects and timelines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or technical cert in mechanical, electrical or construction engineering.
• Welding knowledge is mandatory.
• Capable of working independently on challenging projects and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Factory Manager in supervising the factory Team Leaders and workers to ensure quality and efficiency, mainly welding parts.
• Ensure workers follow health and safety guidelines with weekly safety meetings.
• Oversee daily work plan, PPE usage, arrivals and unloading are carried out smoothly and timely.
• Check materials in/out records and maintain stock with accuracy.
• Organize and upkeep factory storage and smooth inventory movement.
• Assist to source better, cost-saving materials from overseas and liaise with suppliers for replenishment.
• Assist purchaser to source materials overseas.

Job description

• Assist the Factory Manager in supervising the factory/production Team Leaders and workers by overseeing fabrication work for quality consistency and operation efficiency, mainly on welding parts.
• Ensure all workers follow industry standard health and safety guidelines with weekly WSH safety meeting.
• Make sure daily work plan, PPE, goods arrival and unloading are carried out smoothly, timely, and completely.
• Check Team Leaders record of materials in and out of factory to project sites, all stock and inventory is maintained with accuracy and up to date.
• Organize and upkeep factory storage and movement of inventory are smooth and efficient.
• Assist to source better and cost savings materials from overseas and liaise with overseas suppliers for stock replenishing.
• Assist purchaser to source for materials overseas.

Requirements :

• Minimum Technical Cert / Diploma in either Mechanical, Electrical or Construction Engineering or other relevant discipline.
• Welding knowledge is mandatory.
• Responsible team player with the ability to work independently in challenging projects and timelines.
