Job summary

TRANSGLOBE INTERIOR PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an experienced and reliable Factory Manager to oversee daily factory operations, ensuring production runs smoothly, efficiently and safely.

You will plan and coordinate production activities, manage material flow and inventory, and lead supervisors and workers. Collaborate with Project, Design, Purchasing and Site teams to meet schedules, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in manufacturing, engineering, or operations management preferred.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in factory or production management.
• Experience in furniture manufacturing or interior fit-out is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end factory and production operations.
• Plan and coordinate production activities to meet schedules.
• Manage material flow, inventory, production planning and resource utilisation.
• Lead supervisors, team leaders and production workers.
• Ensure workplace safety, quality, security and company standards.
• Monitor KPIs, productivity and quality; drive continuous improvement.
• Manage manpower planning, budgeting and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with Project, Design, Purchasing and Site teams to meet production requirements.
• Lead audits and implement corrective actions.
• Identify production issues and minimise delays, wastage and costs.
• Ensure machinery and facilities are properly maintained and operational.
• Collaborate to improve production efficiency and overall operational performance.
