Job summary

MATRIX SWITCHGEAR DESIGN PTE LTD is hiring a Factory Cleaner to maintain a clean, hygienic and safe environment across the office and factory toilets. The role covers daily cleaning of workstations, common areas, and washrooms, replenishing supplies, and following safety procedures.

Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, dusting, sanitising kitchens, maintaining PPE use, and reporting maintenance needs to Management. Ability to perform deep cleaning and assist with event setups is required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitise office workstations, desks, meeting rooms, reception areas, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum office floors daily.
• Dust furniture, shelves, windowsills, and office equipment.
• Empty rubbish bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
• Clean glass doors, windows, and partitions.
• Clean and sanitise pantry areas, including sinks, countertops, tables, and appliances.
• Wash and store pantry utensils when required.
• Clean and disinfect toilets and washrooms regularly.
• Replenish toilet paper, hand soap, paper towels, and other consumables.
• Ensure ALL washrooms remain clean and presentable throughout the day.
• Clean walkways, staircases, corridors, and other designated common areas.
• Keep entrances and exits free from dust and debris.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness of staff rest areas and locker areas.
• Monitor cleaning supplies and inform Management when replenishment is required.
• Ensure cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored.
• Report any maintenance issues or damaged facilities to Management.
• Follow workplace safety procedures when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when required.
• Ensure cleaning activities do not create safety hazards for employees and visitors.
• Assist with office setup and cleaning before or after company events when required.
• Perform periodic deep cleaning as scheduled.
• Carry out any other cleaning-related duties assigned by Management.
