Job summary

Goldtech Resources PTE Ltd is seeking a Factory Automation System Engineer to support and maintain factory automation applications within a high‑tech manufacturing environment. The role focuses on keeping production systems running, troubleshooting incidents, and assisting manufacturing users to minimize downtime.

Ideal candidates have experience in semiconductor, electronics, or manufacturing sectors and are passionate about supporting mission-critical production systems, with strong SQL skills

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s in CS/IT/Engineering or related field.
• At least 2 years’ hands-on experience in factory automation in semiconductor/manufacturing.
• Experience supporting production-critical applications.
• Proficiency in SQL; Oracle Database experience preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Good communication and cross-functional teamwork.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for factory automation systems to ensure stable manufacturing operations.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues affecting production.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for system incidents.
• Support system enhancements, upgrades, testing, and deployment activities.
• Work closely with production users, engineers, and cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues.
• Develop and execute SQL queries for data analysis, troubleshooting, and reporting.
• Maintain system documentation and operational procedures.
• Participate in preventive maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance.
