A non-profit organization in Singapore is seeking a Facility Technician to manage daily operations of facility systems, perform troubleshooting, and oversee contractors. The ideal candidate holds a Higher Nitec or Diploma in Facilities Management, has at least 2 years of experience, and demonstrates strong teamwork and problem-solving skills. This role requires hands-on work and the ability to thrive under pressure.
Non-Profit Organisation looking for Facility Technician to assist in their daily operations:
Facility Operations & Maintenance: Ensure smooth daily operations of facility systems, including security, cleaning, pest control, and office management, maintaining safety and functionality.
Troubleshooting & Repairs: Identify and resolve equipment issues during duty hours; respond to critical alarms and breakdowns with corrective actions in coordination with relevant teams.
Routine Inspections & Documentation: Conduct daily facility inspections, perform manual data logging, and update log sheets on tasks performed and anomalies observed.
Preventive & Corrective Maintenance: Support planned and ad-hoc maintenance, including after‑hours work, while adhering strictly to safety protocols and escalating issues as needed.
Contractor & Team Supervision: Oversee contractors' work, ensure compliance with safety guidelines, provide training, and participate in audits and risk assessments.
System Monitoring & Support Activities: Monitor BMS/RMS systems, track utilities and inventory, support refurbishments and shutdowns, and perform ad‑hoc maintenance tasks like light replacement and event setup.
Higher Nitec or Diploma in Facilities Management or Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
At least 2 years of work experience related to the field.
A team player with strong interpersonal skills, capable of hands‑on work.
A proactive, "can‑do" approach with the ability to work under pressure when necessary.
