Job summary

A technology solutions company in Singapore is seeking a Facility Equipment Technician to oversee maintenance and servicing of facility equipment and building systems. The ideal candidate will have a Nitec or Diploma in relevant fields and possess strong coordination and analytical skills. On-the-job training will be provided, making this a great opportunity for motivated individuals to develop their skills.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Nitec / Higher Nitec / Diploma in Building, Facility Management, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • 1 year related experience preferred, but on-the-job training provided.
  • Strong initiative and resourcefulness required.

  • Maintenance and servicing of facility equipment and building systems.
  • Inspection of facility equipment and maintenance works.
  • Investigate and determine the cause of equipment breakdown.

Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and servicing of facility equipment and building system

  • Inspection of facility equipment and building system maintenance works

  • Investigate, analyse and determine the cause of breakdown for facility equipment and building system

  • Supervise, coordinate and carry out facility equipment and building system defect rectification

  • Coordinate on contract maintenance for facility equipment and building system

  • Manage contractors on maintenance and servicing works

  • Organise meeting and meet contractors for maintenance related issues

  • Filing of maintenance and servicing records

  • Filing of contract servicing reports from contractors

  • Coordinate and support on tenants related facility equipment and building system

  • Ensure safety requirements are adhered to at all times

  • Any ad hoc works and duties as assigned by Senior Facility Manager

Requirements:

  • Minimum Nitec / Higher Nitec / Diploma in Building, Facility Management, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

  • Other related certifications or qualifications may be considered

  • 1 year of related experience in a similar capacity is preferred but not necessary as on the job training will be provided

  • Willing to hand-on and responsible with good follow up skills

  • Must be independent, self-motivated with strong initiative and resourceful
