Job summary

A leading provider of equipment and services for foundation installation is seeking a Facility Technician based in Singapore. The role involves maintaining the facilities at ASOC, ensuring the security and general upkeep, conducting routine maintenance and troubleshooting any issues. Candidates should possess a minimum O Level/Nitec and have 3 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in Microsoft applications is a must.

Qualifications

  • 3 years of working experience in a similar role.
  • Basic understanding of elevators and fire alarms.
  • Valid driving license is preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure security and appearance of ASOC building and surrounding areas.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and regular check-ups.
  • Schedule with vendors and contractors.

MENCK is currently seeking a Facility Technician, based in Singapore on a full-time permanent basis. The Facility Technician will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of all facilities at ASOC (ACTEON Singapore Operations Centre)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Ensuring security and general appearance of ASOC building and surrounding areas are maintained in accordance with the required standards.

• To upkeep the company’s facilities

• Conduct routine maintenance and regular check-ups to ensure everything is always working properly

• Scheduling with vendors and contractors as well as making sure they adhere to safe working practices

• Troubleshooting and general repair of malfunctioning or defect items

• Take inventory and maintain facility supplies (e.g tube lights, electrical sockets, toiletries etc)

• Ensuring facility service maintenances are carried out accordingly

• To update and maintain facility system

Requirements

• Minimum O Level / Nitec
• 3 years of working experience in a similar role
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Basic understanding of elevators and fire alarms
• Knowledge of Health & Safety Regulations
• Self-Motivated and Pro Active
• Valid driving license is preferred but not a mandatory requirement
• Singapore citizens, permanent residents (PR) in Singapore or Malaysian are encouraged to apply
