Job summary

A well-established facilities management company in Singapore is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee operations and maintenance in a retail environment. You will coordinate programs, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with regulations. Ideal candidates hold a diploma in Engineering or relevant fields with experience in facility management. This role offers a competitive salary package.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical) or relevant field required.
  • Experience in facility management in shopping mall or retail environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage feedback and service requests.
  • Coordinate maintenance programs for mall operations.
  • Assist in budget planning and oversee maintenance expenses.
  • Conduct inspections of common areas and follow up on works.
  • Oversee tenancy fitting-out works and supervise contractors.
  • Liaise with government and internal departments on maintenance matters.

Job description

Well Established Company

Basic $3,500 - $4,500 + AWS + VB

Working Location: Tanjong Katong

Working Days: Monday - Friday

Working Hours: 9.00 am - 6.00 pm

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and respond to all feedback and service requests promptly.
  • Coordinate and execute maintenance programs to ensure smooth mall operations.
  • Assist in annual operations budget planning and oversee maintenance contracts and expenses.
  • Conduct regular inspections of common areas, public walkways, and building facades; follow up on rectification works.
  • Oversee tenancy fitting-out works and supervise contractors' performance.
  • Lead technicians and manage vendors to ensure service standards and compliance.
  • Liaise with government agencies and internal departments on building maintenance matters.
  • Ensure all facilities meet statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare maintenance and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Participate in Emergency Response Team (e.g. Site Incident Controller, First Aider).
  • Support Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) efforts including permit-to-work approvals, safety audits, and risk assessments.
  • Any other ad hoc duties as assigned.
Key Requirements:
  • Minimum Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical) / Real Estate / Facilities / Building / Estate Management
  • Experience in facility management in shopping mall or retail environment will be an added advantage
