The Opportunity

They are seeking a technically strong Facilities/Building Manager with expertise in M&E systems, maintenance planning, sustainability compliance, cost and contract management, tenant fit-out, safety regulations, and proven leadership in real estate operations. The Job

  • Ensure smooth operations, compliance, and zero service disruptions across all building systems.
  • Oversee preventive, corrective, and capex replacement works to optimize performance and asset lifespan.
  • Develop and control OPEX/CAPEX budgets, evaluate tenders, manage vendor performance, and ensure cost efficiency.
  • Enforce regulatory, contractual, security, and safety requirements to safeguard tenants and enhance customer experience.
  • Supervise fit-outs, alterations, and enhancement projects to meet guidelines and stakeholder expectations.
  • Identify new technologies and implement green initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce carbon footprint, and support sustainability goals.

The Talent

  • Degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or equivalent discipline.
  • Minimum 6 years in facilities management, with at least 3 years in a leadership or people management role.
  • Experience in retail malls, real estate, or similar large-scale facilities is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge in Green Mark Certification, sustainability practices, and carbon emission regulations.
  • Fire Safety Manager and bizSAFE Level-2 certifications are advantageous.
  • Strong people management, stakeholder engagement, and presentation skills to lead teams and collaborate across levels.
