Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Singapore is seeking a Facilities Tool Install Technician to coordinate with tool-install contractors and Fab equipment owners to connect and relocate manufacturing tools.

You will follow EHS procedures, participate in safety training, and perform utilities and cleanroom system testing, balancing and turn-on after installation. The ideal candidate holds a diploma in mechanical, electrical, or chemical engineering, or equivalent, with semiconductor and cleanroom

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical engineering or equivalent.
• Semiconductor and cleanroom experience.
• Facilities field or Wafer Fab manufacturing equipment background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with tool-install contractors to connect equipment for new, conversion, unhooking and relocation tools.
• Coordinate with Fab equipment owner to facilitate utilities release per planned schedule and update status.
• Follow safety and environmental procedures to ensure EHS compliance.
• Participate in safety discussions, training and safe work practices.
• Establish regular area walks to identify opportunities for improved safety, cleanliness, housekeeping and efficiency.
• Interact with peers and vendors, communicating information clearly and respectfully.
• Keep Supervisor informed of progress and abnormalities in your area.
• Understand drawings and highlight discrepancies.
• Follow area-specific procedures and documentation.
• Prioritize work tasks to meet schedule and expectation with minimum guidance.
• Perform tool-related utilities and cleanroom systems troubleshooting.
• Turn on utilities after installation completion.
• Perform test and balancing of Exhaust for manufacturing tools whenever necessary.
• Measure utilities for tool consumption.
