Job summary

Fairmont Singapore and Swissôtel The Stamford are seeking a Facilities Engineer to operate, maintain and repair hotel systems across a busy luxury property. You will analyze logs, supervise contractors, and ensure safety standards are met while delivering consistent service quality.

Requirements include 2+ years in facilities engineering, NTC 2 in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, and strong reporting in English. The role is on-site and service-focused in Singapore.

Qualifications

• NTC 2 in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering required.
• At least 2 years of related experience in facilities engineering.
• Relevant experience in a service-oriented culture.
• Conversational and written English.
• PUB Electrician Licence or any approved licence by the relevant authority.

Responsibilities

• Operate, preventively maintain and repair hotel systems and equipment.
• Use logs to determine operating efficiencies and take corrective actions.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and repair of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection and life safety systems.
• Record and analyze operating logs; take necessary measures.
• Handle emergencies in repair works.
• Supervise contractors and ensure quality of work.
• Update daily maintenance logs and complete work orders.
