Facilities Technician

Industry: Marine Engine
Location: Tuas (Company transport provided!)
Working Hours: 5 days/ week 11.30am 8.45pm
Salary UP $3200 (Handphone allowance $50 & Shift allowance $300)

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Senior Facilities Engineer to ensure all services/operations are running smoothly without unscheduled disruption and in compliance to all relevant authorities requirements. Such authorities include but are not limited to SCDF, BCA, NEA, MOM, FSB, URA, EMA, PUB, JTC.
• Support and execute preventive maintenance programs for building equipment to ensure that building equipment are inspected/tested to meet authorities' requirements.
• Liaise with vendors and contractors to ensure all building services works are done in compliance with contract or work orders.
• Day-to-day operation and routine inspection of building facilities. Take regular meter readings and ensure the system is operating in optimal condition.
• Perform general maintenance including building works repairs, electrical, air-conditioning, and plumbing & sanitary systems.
• Supervise/manage outsourced security and ensure security procedures are in place and being carried out at all times.
• Perform the role of 2nd in-charge of Site Incident Controller (SIC), and be part of the Company Emergency Response Team (CERT).
• Assist the Fire Safety Manager (FSM) in conducting regular fire safety inspections of the premises, and cover the role of FSM during his absence.
• Other duties as assigned by your immediate superior.

Requirement:

• Minimum NITEC in Engineering (Mechanical & Electrical/ Building Services/ Facility Management or equivalent)
• Minimum 3 years experience in maintenance related field
• Technical knowledge in building, mechanical, and electrical systems
• Possess a positive attitude, a strong sense of responsibility, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Driving license is an added advantage.
