Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Facilities Technician to join our Retail Management Services team. This position reports directly to the Head of Retail Management Services and plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our retail stores.

Working days:

  • Monday - Friday, Saturday (half-day)

Working hours:

  • 10 AM - 7 PM (Monday to Friday)
  • 9 AM - 1 PM (Saturday)

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the HOD and Project Manager in managing facilities maintenance
  • Provide technical and maintenance support to retail stores and internal departments
  • Prompt attention to maintenance requests and work closely with Retail Operations to solve issues timely
  • Adhere to SOPs and processes to enhance service delivery
  • Liaise with contractors on renovation or maintenance works when necessary
  • Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned from time to time

Requirements:

  • Certificate/Nitec in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
  • Possess valid Class 2B licence and own motor vehicle
  • At least 3 years of experience in Retail/Building Facilities maintenance
  • 5.5 days’ work week and available to work standby duties when required

Keen and able to carry out electrical repair works and perform handyman tasks.

Hands-on, proactive and takes ownership of tasks under his/her responsibility.
