A facilities management company in Singapore is seeking a professional to assist in the daily operation and maintenance of building mechanical and electrical systems. The ideal candidate will possess a diploma or degree in relevant fields with at least 3 years of experience in facilities operation, particularly in data centres. This role requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently, including after-office hours.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Assist in the daily operation, maintenance, and repair of building mechanical and/or electrical systems, including air-conditioning, ventilation systems, lighting, and other infrastructure.
Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and corrective works on M&E systems to ensure smooth operation and compliance with safety and operational standards.
Liaise and co-ordinate with subcontractors for maintenance works.
Support fault diagnosis, troubleshooting, and rectification of breakdowns in coordination with the in-house team or service vendors.
Monitor and operate systems such as Building Management Systems (BMS), electrical panels, fire protection systems, water pumps, and lift systems.
Carry out minor repair works, adjustments, and installations when required, and escalate major faults to supervisors or engineers.
Populate and ensure monthly reports are accurately maintained.
Assist in tracking and maintaining equipment records, service logs, checklists, and asset registers.
Support in conducting safety checks, inspections, and audits of facilities and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal SOPs.
Prepare and submit Certificate of Completion for Maintenance Works and Services monthly and prepare monthly claims.

Job Requirements:
Diploma or Degree from a recognised tertiary institution in Facility Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, Civil or Structural Engineering.
3 years of relevant experience role in Facilities Operation in FM service provider.
Experience in Data Centre Facility Management (DCFM) or CDFOS will be an added advantage.
Class 3 driving license will have added advantage.
FSM /other FM and Safety related certificates will have added advantage.
Resourceful, team player and able to work independently.
Must be able to work and / or response after office hours and weekends.
Good interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
Can start work in immediately will be an advantage.
