Job summary

Singapore Land Group Limited is seeking a dedicated Facilities Technician to join its operations team in a busy shopping mall environment. You will handle day-to-day maintenance, repairs and system checks to ensure reliable building services.

Responsibilities include coordinating with contractors, overseeing safety procedures, and performing preventive maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems, including ACMV and chillers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant M&E experience in a retail mall / hotel.
• Nitec in Facility Management or relevant courses, preferably in electrical or mechanical services.
• Basic knowledge in MS Office (Word & Excel).
• Solid understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques.
• Effective problem-solving abilities with excellent communication skills.
• Willing to perform 3 rotating shifts including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth operation, maintenance and repair works, including Plumbing & Sanitary, electrical fixtures and Chiller Plant System.
• Perform day-to-day operation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and simple repair of mechanical & electrical installations within the shopping mall.
• Ensure safety in the workplace through close supervision and implementation of all safety requirements.
• Able to troubleshoot, coordinate contractors' work arrangement in hard & soft services.
• Monitor all works performed by term contractors.
• Attend to ad hoc duties as assigned by Management.
