Job description

Responsible for managing, leading, and developing a team of Engineers and technicians, including in-house contractors at FOMM. Implement actions to prevent interruptions to production and constantly source improvement plans for areas under charge. Manage projects with proposals and direct interactions with relevant authorities, operation teams, facilities contractors, engineering, EHS, and interfacing.

Job scope:
Engineering
  1. Perform technical reviews of electrical, mechanical (Dry/Wet), and Ultra Pure Water (UPW) systems.
  2. Identify opportunities to improve existing systems to prevent production interruptions and meet company goals.
  3. Supervise and monitor project work for progress and compliance with requirements and specifications.
  4. Lead and drive sustainable Hazop analysis and implementations.
  5. Implement state-of-the-art technology for facilities operations and climate change initiatives.

To ensure efficient facilities operations and optimal support to production and regulatory compliance.

Operations and Management of Facilities Contractors
  1. Manage in-house and ad-hoc contractors and review their work.
  2. Define service contracts with Procurement and develop strong relations with suppliers.
  3. Plan regular checks on system performance and observe abnormalities from reports.
  4. Judge reliability and consistency of system functions.
  5. Develop and review preventive maintenance programs.
  6. Analyze data and advise on solutions to potential problems.
  7. Timely update and resolve issues, supervising corrective actions.

To ensure uninterrupted, in-specification operations, and compliance.

Interfacing
  1. Perform roles to facilitate and enhance communication internally and externally.
  2. Coordinate facilities initiatives with the operations team to support production and optimize equipment.
  3. Coordinate with insurance, regulatory authorities, and auditors.
  4. Act as the interface between the department and corporate management.
  5. Perform any other tasks assigned by supervisors.

To ensure effective communication within and outside the organization.

Requirements:
Educational Qualifications:

Degree in any engineering discipline (experience without degree will be considered).

Experience:

Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.

Technical / Job Knowledge:

Excellent knowledge of wafer fab facilities operations, maintenance, and engineering.

Personal Capabilities:
