Job description

  • Singaporean
  • 5-day week, 8.30am-6pm
  • Workplace at Calshot Road, near to Selarang Drug Rehabilitation Centre
  • Degree or diploma in Facilities/Building Management or Engineering
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in Facilities Management and project coordination
  • Provide advice to internal departmental service requestors on feasibility and technical evaluation for office A&A, flooring repair, furniture relocation, among others
  • Regulatory compliance and engaging BCA on structural works and permits; SCDF on fire safety, layout and access; and MOM on workplace safety and PTW
  • Logging user requests and follow-up actions
  • Escalate to higher level for service requests that require project estimation, design or quotation
  • Prepare assessments and scope of work when needed
  • Conduct regular site walkthroughs
  • Attend coordination meetings
  • Ensure that relevant licences and certifications are current
  • Review operating system and building conditions
  • Recommend cyclical replacement, repair and renovation work
  • Respond to fault alerts when necessary
  • Provide technical advice when needed for procurement of products, services and administration of contract
  • Liaise with sub-contractors /vendors for services to be completed safely, on time and as per SLA’s contractual requirements
  • Keeping up-to-date in advancements on Smart Facility, Smart HSE
  • Preparation and presentation of reports on projects, performance, key risks and actions
  • Optimisation of Facilities & Security operations/ Energy-savings/ maintenance cost reductions
  • Participate in Facilities budgeting
  • Has bizSAFE Level 2 or higher
  • Proficient in MS Office tools
