Job Description: Engineer at SSMC Facilities Department

SSMC (Systems on Silicon Manufacturing Company Pte. Ltd.) is a joint venture between NXP and TSMC, offering flexible and cost-effective semiconductor fabrication solutions. We maintain a fully equipped SMIF cleanroom environment with 100% equipment automation and proven wafer-manufacturing processes.

We are looking for innovative, passionate, and talented individuals to join our team as an Engineer in the Facilities Department. The role involves providing facilities support related to Gas and Chemical Distribution systems, Ultrapure Water, and Wastewater systems to ensure the continuous and efficient supply of utilities.

Responsibilities:

• Formulate and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure systems function optimally at all times.
• Perform repair and troubleshooting to restore systems to their operational conditions promptly.
• Monitor and review system performance and capacity, providing regular reports and recommending improvements.
• Develop and implement operating procedures for optimal system operation.
• Monitor utility consumption and collaborate with users to implement reduction projects.
• Track spares and consumables, ensuring adequate provisions for daily operations.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including plant histories, drawings, and data for future reference.
• Evaluate and recommend necessary spares, consumables, and resources for daily operations.

Qualifications:

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or equivalent).
• 1-3 years of experience in semiconductor, pharmaceutical, or petrochemical industries preferred; fresh graduates are welcome.
• Basic knowledge in engineering, including water treatment systems.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
