Our client is a leading joint venture in the advanced semiconductor foundry business, produces a wide range of customized integrated circuits for global markets, serving industries such as telecommunications, information technology, multi-media, and digital consumer electronics.
System troubleshooting: Respond to and resolve system failures, generate comprehensive 8D reports, and manage the report database.
Maintenance planning: Develop and implement predictive and corrective maintenance strategies to optimize system performance.
Performance tracking: Monitor and analyze key metrics such as uptime, downtime, MTBF, and MTTR for chemical and gas systems.
Database management: Maintain various administrative and engineering databases to support critical operations and engineering data.
Alarm management: Ensure excellent operations of TGCM through effective alarm management strategies.
Team coordination: Schedule and communicate with service teams to ensure timely completion of all activities.
Engineering leadership: Participate in review meetings, prepare critical engineering information, and address customer satisfaction issues.
Process improvement: Develop and implement SOPs, conduct FMEAs, and drive operational excellence across all teams.
Inventory control: Manage inventory, facilitate parts ordering, and identify critical components to ensure smooth operations.
Training and development: Provide training to engineers and technicians on system operation and maintenance.
Safety and compliance: Maintain high standards of safety and housekeeping, assist in audits, and ensure compliance with relevant standards and legislations.
Project management: Lead startup, commissioning, and installation of process systems, ensuring proper documentation and archiving.
Emergency response: Be available for 24-hour standby for emergency activation or shutdown as needed.
Educational background: Master's or Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering, preferably in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or equivalent field.
Industry experience: 5-10 years of experience in semiconductor, pharmaceutical, or petrochemical industries is preferred.
Technical knowledge: Basic engineering knowledge, including familiarity with water treatment systems.
Software proficiency: Competence in Microsoft business applications to support daily operations and reporting.
Problem-solving aptitude: Demonstrated ability to analyze complex issues and develop innovative solutions.
