Job description

The Facilities Manager will be responsible for ensuring that our facility and services meet the needs of our employees and the organization. This role will involve both day-to-day operations, including equipment maintenance, space management, safety compliance, and vendor coordination.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of office facilities, including maintenance, cleaning etc
  • Manage building maintenance activities, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Develop and manage budgets for facility operations and maintenance.
  • Coordinate office space allocation and workspace planning.
  • Manage vendor contracts and relationships to ensure quality service and cost-effectiveness.
  • Lead emergency response planning and oversee facility-related risk management.
  • Monitor facility usage and implement efficiency improvements.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Facilities Manager, Building Manager, or similar role.
  • Relevant experience 6 - 8 years.
  • Knowledge of facility management systems and tools.
  • Understanding of technical aspects of plumbing, HVAC, electrical systems, etc.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and manage several projects simultaneously.
