The Role

As a CBRE Facility Manager, you will guide and ensure Facility Management team in completion of multiple functions of building operations and maintenance for a facility, site or portfolio of buildings. This job is a part of the Facilities Management functional area which focuses on all aspects of the operations of a set of assets, providing support to the Property Managers regarding all repairs and investment plans.

A typical day may involve;

  • Provide formal supervision to employees. Managing site FM team, monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees.

  • Schedule and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross[1]train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.

  • Good understanding of Critical Environments operations/equipment - UPS, Generator, Fire protection system, leak detection etc.

  • Review PPM Work order for the 52 weeks planner and prepare Change request for Stake holders’ approval for the month on weekly basis.

  • Participate and lead weekly change approval meetings for the site’s technical rooms/infrastructure PPM works.

  • To meet KPI/SLA for Planned PM Work Orders, Reactive Work Orders, closing out Work orders on time

  • Raising Self initiative work orders on day-to-day basis and close them on time within SLA. (proactive checks)

  • Incident escalation through SAAS ServiceNow (BIR, problem/change management) with in 1hr

  • Plan annual power down maintenance of Site, prepare MOP, EOP and coordinate with various BUs for their approval.

  • Implement Life cycle replacement/CIP projects.

  • Attending out of hours managing incident at site

  • 24/7 offsite/onsite support for Breakdown calls

  • Vendor management on PPM and Reactive tasks, getting timely quotations and approvals for break fix.

  • Managing soft services (cleaning, landscape and pest control) – ensuring that SLA is met.

  • Sustainability PIC for Site- Maintain Environment controls as per client’s standards.

  • Prepare and manage capital projects, out of scope budgets, and variance (sustainability) reports

  • Coordinate and manage facility repairs and maintenance by working with technicians, vendors, and contractors.

  • Weekly engagement with landlord and following up with landlord activities with regular updates to client. (Landlord management)

  • Oversee vendor relationships and invoicing procedures. Review price quotes for the procurement of parts, services, and labour for projects.

  • Perform facility inspections, quality assurance following local regulations and ISO standards. Suggest operational efficiencies, repairs, and upgrade opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-4 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

  • Electrical system knowledge is preferred.

  • Facility Management certification preferred.

  • Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.

  • Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.
