Facilities Management Engineer (Building) - Up to 6K #HHL

Location: Central Singapore
Salary: Up to $6,000/month

Responsibilities:

1. Manage day-to-day operations, maintenance, and replacement of institution M&E systems and non-clinical equipment.
2. Oversee service partners and ensure adherence to KPIs for outsourced engineering services.
3. Audit and monitor service standards from vendors to ensure compliance with hospital and industry standards.
4. Support and lead cyclical upgrades and building improvement projects.
5. Act as Project Manager for facility renovation, retrofitting, and system replacement works.
6. Provide advisory and troubleshooting support on specialised systems and critical equipment.
7. Prepare technical specifications, cost estimates, and schedules for project implementation.
8. Participate in inspections and project handover for development projects.
9. Ensure safety compliance, particularly in infection control and patient safety during maintenance works.
10. Raise requisitions for breakdown and replacement jobs; ensure swift service recovery for system failures.
11. Support the Fire Safety Manager (FSM) in fire safety and emergency preparedness.
12. Contribute to security planning and enforcement of house rules.

Requirements:

1. Min Degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related discipline.
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in M&E facilities management, preferably in a healthcare environment.
3. Strong hands-on knowledge of M&E systems and building services.
4. Certificate in Fire Safety Manager/Officer is an advantage.
5. Strong project management, leadership, and supervisory capabilities.
6. Customer service-oriented, detail-focused, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
