Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD for drafting and updating of facility engineering drawings.
  • Assist in project management for new machines project installations, building & facilities works as assigned by management from design to construction and commissioning to meet budget and schedule.
  • Attend all building and facilities breakdown on mechanical/ electrical equipment (Air compressors, water chillers, Air conditioners, AHU, ACMV, Cooling towers, lighting), plumbing, fire protection and ensure overall upkeep of building services.
  • Schedule and manage outsourced facilities related services such as cleaning, landscape, pest control, water treatment and equipment maintenance.
  • Good in project management, manage and schedule preventive maintenance of equipment under the care of building and facilities.
  • Monitor utilities consumption and provide support to all utilities to the plant.
  • Handle administrative duties ranging from vendor sourcing, drafting purchase requests and budget control.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations (fire safety, environmental standards, OSHA, etc.).
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective actions for facility-related hazards.
  • Maintain documentation for audits and regulatory inspections.
  • Able to think out of the box and make innovative recommendations for cost and energy savings.
  • Awareness of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems and policy, including the implications of nonconforming to the requirements and the assessment of occupational risks and hazards.
  • Schedule regular communication with employees to discuss expectations and challenges and help to remove obstacles related to product safety and quality.
  • Act on comments and suggestions from employees about product safety and quality seriously, and regularly encourage employees to offer ideas about improving product safety and quality.
  • Allocate time for employees to receive product safety and quality training, as well as regular updates and refresher sessions.

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in engineering/Facilities management related discipline
  • 2-3 Years of Experience is preferred.
  • Fresh diploma holders with keen interest in developing themselves in the field of facilities management are welcome to apply.
  • At least 3 years of working experience in manufacturing / engineering related industries
  • Proficient in AutoCAD
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
