Qualifications

Job description

General Responsibilities:

• Oversee and maintain day-to-day facilities operations across Ida’s Events and Charlotte Puxley Flowers Studio, ensuring a clean, functional, and well-maintained environment.

• Manage general upkeep and cleanliness of both Ida’s and the Warehouse to meet operational standards.

Event Support:

• Provide comprehensive operational support for events at Ida’s, including venue setup, coordination, and breakdown.

• Allocate and manage space requirements, including temporary use of the warehouse or studio for events.

• Coordinate event logistics to ensure seamless execution, including managing transitions between back-to-back events.

• Oversee all aspects of event setup and teardown to support smooth and timely operations.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Be on standby for emergencies and provide support outside of regular working hours, including weekends, as scheduled.

• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisors or management.

• Assist with administrative tasks such as plant care, stock and inventory management, and general studio upkeep.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma from a recognised tertiary institution

• Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English Language..

• At least 1 - 1.5 year experience in similar capacity.

• Proficient in using email, Microsoft offices (Word, Excel and Power Point)

• Possession of a valid Class 3 driving license.

• Physically able to lift and carry up to 25kg.
