Job summary

Siltronic Silicon Wafer Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to oversee PLC-based control systems. You will monitor performance, ensure maximum uptime, and coordinate projects for new improvements and automation across manufacturing lines.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Siemens and Mitsubishi PLCs, ELV systems, and field instruments, and can troubleshoot system abnormalities while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

Degree in Electrical / control Engineering or related fields with min 2 years experience.
Experience in Siemens, Mitsubishi PLC systems.
Experience in ELV systems like fire alarm, public address, etc
Able to work with field instruments.
Knowledge of Electrical systems will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

Maintenance of PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) and control systems.
Continuous performance monitoring and ensuring highest uptime.
Project coordination for new improvement and automation activities.
Troubleshooting of system abnormalities and provide technical solution.
Initiate continuous improvement projects.
Manage external contractor and vendors and maintaining safety standards.
