As a Facilities Engineer, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Oversee and coordinate the planning and procurement of medical and non-medical equipment, including furniture where applicable

• Organise and lead user group meetings to align project goals, timelines, and deliverables

• Assist in budget planning and ensure projects stay within approved financial limits

• Collaborate with end users and stakeholders to develop specifications for procurement exercises

• Evaluate technical submissions for tenders and provide recommendations to relevant teams

• Assist tender committees during procurement evaluations

• Stay updated on healthcare planning trends and contribute strategic input to infrastructure development

• Provide support across campus planning functions and assist in group biomedical engineering equipment operations

• Gain familiarity with internal policies by supporting site teams in operational tasks

• Coordinate with vendors and contractors to manage service levels and resolve procurement-related issues

• Offer technical guidance to both internal teams and senior leadership on equipment and furniture matters

• Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Diploma in Electronics or related Engineering field with at least 5 years of experience in medical equipment maintenance, or Degree in Electronics or related Engineering field with at least 3 years of relevant experience

• Strong knowledge of healthcare infrastructure planning and procurement is a plus
