Job summary

UNITED MICROELECTRONICS CORPORATION (SINGAPORE BRANCH) is seeking an engineer to operate, maintain, and improve factory systems, ensuring stable supply and quality for customers. The role covers chiller/boiler systems, process pipelines, exhaust, HVAC, and cleanroom services, with responsibility to plan improvement projects and oversee execution.

Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/ Refrigeration and Air Conditioning or related field is required; open to candidates with or without experience.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or refrigeration/air conditioning or related engineering.
• Experience not required (open to all).
• Strong interest to learn and develop system operation skills.
• Ability to manage system operations and emergency response handling.
• Creative problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the operation, maintenance, and engineering improvements of factory systems to ensure stable supply capacity and consistent quality for customers.
• Operate, maintain, and service chiller and boiler systems.
• Operate, maintain, and service process pipelines and exhaust systems.
• Operate, maintain, and service HVAC and fire protection systems.
• Operate, maintain, and service cleanroom systems.
• Plan and execute system improvement projects and HOOKUPengineering.
