Facilities Engineer

What You Will Do

1. Lead and execute facilities and building management improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency.
2. Oversee and manage the facilities management partner responsible for the maintenance of the Engine MRO Centre.
3. Manage contractors and vendors, ensuring compliance with the company's contractor management policies and business practices.
4. Ensure adherence to all relevant local legislation, industry standards, and regulations related to building maintenance and management in Singapore.
5. Attend required Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) training sessions, adhere to EH&S protocols, and spearhead at least one EH&S initiative.
6. Monitor and analyze environmental data, identifying trends and driving improvement initiatives.
7. Provide support for alternate site operations, including engine stand repairs and effluent plant maintenance.
8. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications You Must Have

1. Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, or related Engineering discipline from a recognized university.
2. 3-5 years of relevant experience in facilities and vendor management.
3. Proven project management experience in building management systems, equipment installations, and facilities upgrades.
4. Strong ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team, even under tight project timelines.
5. Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Qualifications We Prefer

1. Experience in facilities management within the Manufacturing or Aerospace MRO sectors is highly preferred.
2. Possession of relevant safety certifications is an advantage.
3. Knowledge of the Energy Conservation Act and Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards (MEES) for water-cooled chilled water systems is a plus.
