Job summary

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee the strategic planning, budgeting, and execution of development, renovation, and expansion projects for the centre.
  • Manage the full project lifecycle from concept and design to completion including regulatory approvals, procurement, scheduling, and quality assurance.
  • Ensure the centre’s operational readiness and ongoing preventive maintenance in collaboration with the facilities management team.
  • Ensure all works are compliant with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
  • Drive innovation in areas such as energy efficiency, sustainability, smart building systems, and long-term asset lifecycle management.
  • Prepare reports and deliver regular updates to senior management and stakeholders on project status, risks, and timelines.
  • Foster strong working relationships with internal departments (e.g. Engineering, Housekeeping, F&B, Operations) to support ongoing maintenance and continuous improvement efforts.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in facilities development and management, preferably within the hospitality or related sectors.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Certifications in Green Mark, Fire Safety, or other sustainability-related areas will be an advantage.
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing cross-functional teams and coordinating with multiple project stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in overseeing facilities management teams and vendor partners.
