Job description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all aspects of facility maintenance, repairs, and minor renovation works.
  • Manage facility security, access control systems, and emergency response protocols.
  • Prepare and manage budgets related to building upkeep and operations.
  • Coordinate vendor services including cleaning, landscaping, and equipment servicing.
  • Supervise facility staff and contractors (technicians, cleaners, gardeners, etc.).
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, building codes, and statutory requirements.
  • Plan space utilization and manage office or workshop setup and allocation.
  • Support infrastructure projects and monitor progress of building-related works.
  • Maintain documentation of facility operations, service records, and permits.
  • Assist the Head of SRTC in project tenders, client requests, and technical coordination (e.g., installation of field devices, workshop usage, etc.).
Requirements:
  • Diploma in Facility Management or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in facility or building maintenance operations.
  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical/mechanical systems and safety compliance.
  • Ability to manage budgets and maintain cost control.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Capable of leading teams and liaising with external vendors or clients.
