Our client is seeking a Facilities Coordinator to join their team!

What you'll be doing?

  1. Coordinate repairs: Collaborate with contractors to ensure facility maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  2. Plan maintenance: Work closely with internal departments to schedule and organize facility-related repair and maintenance activities.
  3. Develop vendor relationships: Source and cultivate a network of qualified contractors and suppliers to support ongoing maintenance and improvement projects.
  4. Enhance safety and quality: Partner with Safety and other departments to contribute to EHS initiatives and quality improvement efforts.
  5. Monitor progress: Conduct regular inspections to track work progress and ensure the timely completion of subcontracted tasks.
  6. Address facility issues: Respond promptly to service requests related to facility breakdowns and manage fault reporting duties.
  7. Maintain equipment: Keep equipment maintenance records up-to-date, ensuring all M&E systems receive timely preventive maintenance.
  8. Support dormitory management: Assist the Facility Manager in overseeing the Factory Converted Dormitory operations.
  9. Contribute to team goals: Take on additional assignments as directed by the Facility Manager to support overall team objectives.

Who are they looking for?

  1. Educational background: Minimum ITE in Building Services, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Facility Management, or related fields. O Level candidates with the right aptitude may also be considered.
  2. Work experience: At least 1 year of relevant experience in building/facilities servicing and maintenance is beneficial but not mandatory.
  3. Vendor management skills: Familiarity with vendor management and RFQ processes is valuable for this role.
  4. Driving ability: Possession of a Class 3 driving license is advantageous.
  5. Project management: Strong project and vendor management skills are essential for success in this position.
  6. Interpersonal skills: Effective communication and a proactive attitude are key to thriving in this role.
  7. Technical proficiency: Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications is necessary for day-to-day tasks.
  8. Safety focus: A strong commitment to safety practices and procedures is crucial.
