Duties/Responsibilities:
- Oversee ACMV/HVAC air-conditioning systems and ensure daily thermal comfort is within acceptable limits.
- Plan, schedule, and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities, reallocating resources when required.
- Lead a team of technicians and supervisors to ensure efficient execution of maintenance, repair, and operational tasks.
- Ensure all works comply with quality standards, health, and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with contractors for installation, maintenance, and rectification works; check completed work for compliance and safety.
- Monitor, evaluate, and improve the efficiency of systems and equipment within the facility.
- Lead and participate in root cause analysis for equipment faults or abnormalities; provide updates, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Conduct technical investigations, prepare reports, and propose solutions for breakdowns or faults.
- Maintain complete documentation of maintenance procedures, reports, and records.
- Provide project status updates to supervisors, managers, technicians, and relevant departments.
- Carry out ad-hoc projects, assignments, or repair works as required.
Education and Experience:
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, Air-Conditioning, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in Facilities Management or ACMV/HVAC works.
- Hands-on experience with FCU (Fan Coil Units) and AHU (Air Handling Units) preferred.
- Knowledge of construction principles, building processes, and regulations.
- Strong understanding of workplace safety, with good WSH practices and behaviours.
- Good documentation and reporting skills.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work well with both technical and non-technical teams.
- Customer service-oriented with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
