Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to support day-to-day high-volume semiconductor production in a cleanroom.

You will execute production plans, monitor process performance, ensure equipment and materials readiness, and escalate safety, quality, and delivery issues to engineers and shift leads. The role requires a Higher Nitec or Diploma in engineering, willingness to work 12-hour shifts including nights, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• Higher Nitec / Diploma in Engineering or Applied Sciences (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Chemical, Materials, or related disciplines).
• Able to work 12-hour shifts, including night shifts.
• Basic familiarity with manufacturing processes and high-volume environments.
• Ability to follow structured work instructions and use computer-based systems.
• Clear verbal and written communication in English for reporting issues and handovers.
• Prior semiconductor manufacturing or high-volume production experience preferred.
• Ability to apply baseline digital fluency and AI literacy to daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety, quality, and 6S in a cleanroom environment and escalate deviations.
• Execute daily production activities per plans and SOPs; monitor flow and WIP.
• Operate multiple machines, perform checks, and support equipment readiness.
• Assist in troubleshooting, data collection, and contribute to continuous improvement.
