Job summary

Ambition Singapore invites applications for Principal Consultant, Engineering & Manufacturing to lead the Facilities function for a 12-inch semiconductor fabrication site in Singapore. You will supervise facilities engineering, operations, maintenance and infrastructure projects to establish robust site infrastructure and drive commissioning and ramp-up toward high reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related engineering discipline.
• 16+ years of facilities/engineering experience in semiconductor/high-reliability manufacturing.
• Direct experience supporting a 300mm / 12-inch semiconductor fab.
• Proven experience in greenfield fab construction, expansion, commissioning, ramp-up or major infrastructure upgrades.
• Experience with BMS/FMS, facilities automation and data-driven reliability programmes.

Responsibilities

• Lead Facilities Engineering, Operations, Maintenance and Infrastructure functions for a semiconductor fab.
• Develop and execute the facilities strategy, capacity plan and infrastructure roadmap aligned with fab production and technology needs.
• Oversee critical utilities including electrical power, HVAC, chilled/process cooling water, UPW, CDA, vacuum, gases, chemicals, exhaust/abatement, wastewater and fire protection.
• Lead major CAPEX and infrastructure projects from design and construction through commissioning, qualification and handover.
• Establish reliability, preventive/predictive maintenance, emergency response and business continuity programmes.
• Partner closely with Fab Operations, Engineering, EHS, Quality, Finance and Procurement teams.
• Drive energy efficiency, sustainability, cost optimization and continuous improvement.
• Build and develop a strong multidisciplinary Facilities team and local engineering talent pipeline.

This role will play a key part in establishing the site infrastructure, driving commissioning and ramp-up, and ensuring high reliability and operational readiness.

Ideal Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Facilities, Building Services or related Engineering discipline.
• 16+ years of Facilities/Engineering experience, with substantial semiconductor or high-reliability manufacturing experience.
• Direct experience supporting a 300mm / 12-inch semiconductor fab.
• Proven experience in greenfield fab construction, expansion, commissioning, ramp-up or major infrastructure upgrades.
• Experience with BMS/FMS, facilities automation and data-driven reliability programmes.
