A premier hospitality group in Singapore is seeking a Revenue Optimization and Data Analyst to maximize revenue through data-driven insights and optimization strategies. The ideal candidate will have a background in data analysis, strategic pricing, and experience in the F&B industry. Responsibilities include analyzing performance data, collaborating with various teams, and developing pricing strategies to enhance profitability.
We are seeking a dynamic and analytical professional to join our Food & Beverage team as a Revenue Optimization and Data Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for maximizing revenue through data-driven insights, optimization strategies, and continuous performance monitoring. You will work closely with F&B leadership, Revenue Management, Finance, Sales & Marketing, and hotel General Managers to develop and execute pricing strategies and long-term revenue plans. Your expertise will ensure profitability, operational efficiency, and alignment with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Revenue Optimization:
· Analyze performance data across F&B channels including restaurants, bars, room service, banquets, and special events.
· Develop and implement strategic pricing models based on demand, seasonality, customer segments, and competitor benchmarks.
· Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and improving average check value.
· Participate in and support the planning and execution of F&B pricing strategies for new and existing outlets.
· Work with hotel teams to formulate and challenge robust annual/long-term F&B plans and forecasts.
· Ensure all revenue strategies are rooted in sound commercial judgment and data analysis.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
· Collect, clean, and analyze large volumes of data to uncover trends and actionable insights.
· Produce regular and ad hoc reports on revenue performance, KPIs, guest behavior, product sales, and profitability metrics.
· Monitor and evaluate promotional performance and suggest improvements.
· Utilize tools such as Excel, Power BI, SevenRooms, Perfect Check, and other F&B management platforms to analyze and visualize data. As applicable.
Demand Forecasting & Trend Analysis:
· Leverage internal and external tools to build accurate weekly, monthly, and annual F&B forecasts.
· Monitor market trends and customer behavior to predict demand patterns and adjust operations accordingly.
· Work closely with the operations team to ensure inventory levels align with projected demand.
· Maintain historical data related to demand-generating events and analyze promotion effectiveness.
Collaboration & Strategy Development:
· Collaborate with marketing, sales, and operations teams to develop promotional and pricing strategies.
· Provide recommendations on menu design and product offerings based on data-driven insights.
· Support the implementation of revenue management techniques, such as dynamic pricing and segmentation strategies.
· Share best practices, tools, and innovative profit-generating ideas across properties in the region.
Competitive & Market Analysis:
· Conduct regular market analysis to understand key drivers, customer behaviors, and competitor pricing.
· Benchmark performance and identify gaps or growth opportunities.
· Support outlet-level teams in tracking and improving metrics such as APC (average per cover), COGS (cost of goods sold), and labor efficiency.
Optimization of F&B Operations:
· Analyze labor costs and COGS to recommend strategies that improve operational efficiency and profit margins.
· Monitor F&B KPIs across properties and provide actionable insights for process and performance improvement.
· Ensure the synergy and consistency in the use of tools, systems, and processes across the region.
Technology & Tools:
· Leverage advanced analytics tools (e.g., Excel, Sevenrooms, Perfect Check, Power BI, etc.) to manipulate and visualize data.
· Stay updated on the latest technologies and methodologies in revenue management and data analytics for the F&B industry.
Qualifications & Skills:
Educational Background:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, Economics, Data Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
Experience:
· 3+ years of experience in revenue management, data analysis, or a related role in the hospitality or F&B industry.
· Experience with revenue optimization tools and/or pricing management platforms.
· Knowledge of F&B operations, including pricing, menu design, and supply chain management.
Technical Skills:
· Proficient in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau)
· Skilled in interpreting complex data and identifying actionable insights
· Familiar with F&B systems (POS, TMS, booking engines)
