Bateel is seeking a dynamic Sales Associate to enhance the customer experience within our boutique. As a Sales Associate at Bateel, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and driving boutique sales. You will act as a brand ambassador, ensuring every customer interaction reflects Bateel’s commitment to quality, hospitality, and excellence.
Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and provide knowledgeable product recommendations
Assist customers in selecting premium dates, chocolates, and gift sets
Share product stories and tasting notes to enhance the luxury experience
Maintain store cleanliness, merchandising, and visual presentation standards
Operate POS system and handle cash, card, and digital transactions accurately
Assist in inventory checks, stock replenishment, and receiving deliveries
Meet or exceed daily and monthly sales targets
Support team members and participate in boutique events or promotional activities
Uphold Bateel’s brand image, grooming, and etiquette standards
Requirements
Minimum 1 year of experience in retail, preferably in luxury, F&B, or lifestyle brands
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Passion for customer service and premium food products
Well-groomed with a professional and approachable demeanor
Able to work retail hours including weekends and public holidays
Basic proficiency in English; other languages (e.g., Mandarin, Malay) are a plus to effectively communicate with Mandarin/Malay-speaking community
