F&B Packaging Engineer - Your future position?

As F&B Packaging Engineer, you will manage all technical aspects of the packaging portfolio globally. You will drive the optimization of primary and secondary packaging materials in coordination with the Global team. You will support standardization, validation, cost savings, supplier development, sustainability integration, and regional representation in the global team. Additionally, you will ensure packaging compliance with legal requirements across regions.

You can be based in one of our production sites globally, reporting to the Head of Manufacturing Excellence, Global Operations F&B.

Roles and responsibilities include:

  • Partner Management and Networking: act as the primary contact, coordinate validation, drive trials, network with teams, support vendor evaluation, lead regional packaging projects, and oversee inbound/outbound packaging processes.
  • Safety and Quality Management: address regulatory exposures, support operational and quality issues, solve packaging and labeling issues, and ensure data quality.
  • Continuous Improvement: develop innovative packaging solutions, support new materials and sustainable initiatives, prioritize customer needs, and identify optimization projects.

You Have:

  • Master’s degree in packaging technology or relevant experience
  • Over 5 years of operational/R&D experience in packaging
  • Experience in B2B food ingredients or related industries
  • International exposure
  • Expertise in Safety & Food Safety regulations
  • Knowledge of Dangerous Goods transportation norms
  • Experience working in a matrix organization
  • Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus
  • Knowledge of packaging for Food and Cosmetics sectors
