Overview

Reporting directly to the Assistant Director of Food & Beverage, the F&B Operations Manager is a hands-on leader crucial to elevating our food and beverage offerings as a key differentiator for the Kempinski brand. This dynamic role demands active participation in overseeing and ensuring the success of our hotel's Food & Beverage and Banquet operations. You will lead, motivate, and develop the F&B team, instilling a culture of courteous, professional, and efficient service that aligns with hotel and Kempinski brand standards. Your direct involvement in day-to-day operations will ensure seamless execution and an exceptional guest experience.

Department: Food & Beverage | Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time | Location: Singapore (Onsite)

Responsibilities
  • Assist to oversee the Food & Beverage and Banquet day-to-day operations of the hotel.
  • Drive sales to full potential in assigned outlets as directed by the Food & Beverage Head of Department.
  • Manage costs to align with revenue without compromising quality.
  • Lead the department with an entrepreneurial focus, seeking opportunities to generate more business continually.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel rules and regulations, including fire & safety and hygiene standards (including HACCP).
  • Foster innovation and share ideas with other hotels via the corporate office.
  • Support and implement Human Resources & Talent Development initiatives.
  • Assist in preparing and consolidating the yearly department budget.
  • Prepare monthly income statements and Revenue Reports; attend monthly performance meetings with Outlet Management.
  • Source the best available products and continuously improve quality; communicate effectively internally and externally.
  • Prepare a yearly marketing plan for appointed outlets in collaboration with Sales & Marketing, including competitor analysis.
  • Stay informed on local and global F&B trends.
  • Ensure managers plan and implement effective training programs in appointed outlets.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years in an F&B management role or similar capacity.
  • Experience with diverse dining concepts in luxury hotels, including all-day dining, banquet, signature restaurants, and celebrity chef concepts.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills with the ability to adapt communication and working style for different stakeholders.
  • Positive attitude, team player, and ability to work independently; capable of thriving under pressure with proactive problem-solving.
  • Resourceful, able to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.
