F&B Manager Job Description
A Food & Beverage (F&B) Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a food and beverage establishment, such as a restaurant, hotel, or catering service. This role involves managing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining financial performance.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Management:
- Oversee daily F&B operations, ensuring high standards of quality, service, and safety.
- Develop and implement operational procedures and policies to improve efficiency.
- Monitor inventory levels of food, beverages, and supplies, and place orders as needed.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
Team Leadership and Management:
- Hire, train, and manage F&B staff, including servers, bartenders, and kitchen crew.
- Create work schedules and assign duties to team members.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching and feedback to staff.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Financial Management:
- Develop and manage the F&B budget, and control costs to meet financial targets.
- Analyze sales data and financial reports to identify areas for improvement.
- Implement pricing strategies and promotions to maximize profitability.
- Handle cash and manage daily financial reports.
Customer Service and Experience:
- Address and resolve customer complaints and feedback in a professional manner.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by ensuring exceptional service.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance the dining experience.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and suppliers.
Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience in an F&B management role.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Financial acumen , with experience in budgeting, cost control, and sales analysis.
