F&B Management Trainee

Job Description:
In your role as a F&B Management Trainee with The Providore, you will play an important role in our truly incredible team, as you delve into the engaging world of F&B by receiving valuable, hands-on operational training and strategic mentoring from our experienced F&B Management team towards your personal and professional development.
During your 18-month F&B Management Trainee Program, you will:
- Work alongside and learn from seasoned F&B professionals, before progressing in your career with the Company by being promoted to an Assistant Manager at one of our fantastic restaurants!
- Be trained and mentored by our experienced F&B Management team, where you will gain valuable and insightful knowledge in the smooth and profitable running of a restaurant.
- Acquire valuable knowledge through exposure to line and employee functions, operations, management viewpoints and control, company policies, and procedures which affect different phases of the business.
- Be trained and gain official certifications e.g., Food Hygiene Certification registered with the Singapore Food Agency (SFA) to aid you in your growth and development.
- Learn the intricacies and importance of F&B service, skills and knowledge in overall restaurant operations covering areas such as budget maintenance, cost control, as well as performance targets and objectives.
- Be professionally trained in our bar operations, by learning how to prepare our delectable selection of coffee such as espresso, lungo, caffe latte, flat white, cappuccino, macchiato, americano, piccolo, mochaccino, and more.
- Pick up critical knowledge in marketing strategies, by having the opportunity to participate in marketing activities, reporting analyses of competitive price listing and product selection.
- Come to appreciate the importance of maintaining a safe, clean, and healthy work environment by following organizational standards and sanitization regulations.
- Actively participate in the continuous improvement of our high-quality standards through the study, evaluation, and potential re-designing of processes for possible implementation of changes.
- Develop into a valuable member of the team as someone who will continue to grow and develop into a future Management role.
- Be exposed to other skill-development plans or ad-hoc tasks beneficial for your development.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum requirement is a bachelor's degree from a recognized institution.
- Honestly, no experience is required so do not fret or worry if you do not have any prior experience or training, for as long as you are genuinely keen to learn, grow and develop, you will fit right in as we have a long and positive track record of developing our Management Trainees and entry-level employees across all our departments.
- Effective communication skills with positive, interpersonal, and man-management skills.
- A team player with a good sense of job responsibility and a keen eye for details.
- Honest willingness to learn and grow with the Company.
